Welcome to Roborough House.
Roborough is a beautiful independent sector care
facility where staff take pride in working toward excellent standards of service at all times.
Roborough is always evolving; our client group is diverse with younger physically disabled (including brain injury),
complex and challenging placements.
Age/diagnosis is not a barrier and we do care for older adults – we respond to individual needs.
We strive to be flexible, offer choices and nondiscriminatory
practice at all times. Our aim is to tailor the service to the needs of those referred.
We set goals and care plans, keeping individuals always at the centre of their care.
The time spent with us can vary greatly depending on
need such as:
• Short spells of respite care
• Long-term placements
• Managing an acute (exacerbation) of a long term
condition to avoid going into hospital achieving a
temporary increase in care
• Intermediate Care rehabilitation usually time
limited for 6 to 8 weeks with a specific set of goals to
help achieve the maximum independence and return
individuals to their own home
• Slow Steam rehabilitation to continue and
maintain progress made
• Interim/Step down placement where the
long term placement is delayed due to housing
or adaptation
• Sessional/day care
• Re-integration to the South West area after
placement out of area
• Our service will provide assessment and
recommendations for care packages on discharge,
assisting people in managing their long term
conditions
The grounds also have facilities for extra care housing
and the main building has independent living flatlets.
Our organisational strategy is to work in partnership
with Strategic Health Authorities, Hospitals, Trusts and
Local Authority services to provide a South West based
facility that is flexible to the needs and the changing
needs of the clients we serve.
Please Note:
We are a non-smoking building as per Government and
NHS current healthier living initiatives.
